

Geoecological problems: Changing climate in the Krkonoše/Karkonosze Mountains
Kick off meeting for the project Strategická a koordinovaná správa KRNAP – KPN (CZ.11.04.01/00/24_017/0000184)
The aim is to present the latest results of research into the natural environment of the Krkonoše Mountains for application in the strategic planning of the Krkonoše National Park and Karkonosze Park Administrations. The main theme is ongoing climate change as a fundamental challenge for nature conservation in both national parks. Contributions from all fields relevant to nature conservation in the Krkonoše national parks are welcome.

Parking
A parking area next to the hotel is reserved for vehicles and is secured by an automatic barrier controlled by a chip card. Parking will be provided until capacity is reached.
Public transportation
Špindlerův Mlýn is accessible by public bus transport.
Accommodation
Hotel VZ Bedřichov is a three-star hotel. Accommodation will be provided in double and triple rooms. All rooms are equipped with a TV and telephone. The hotel also has a wellness center with access to a swimming pool and other treatments.

Registration
Registration is open until the limit of 60 participants is reached, or until June 30, 2026.
The registration fee is CZK 1,000 excluding VAT and includes participation in lectures, workshops, and excursions, as well as accommodation and meals.
Instructions for paying the registration fee will be sent by email after registration.
Oral presentations are scheduled to last 15 minutes, posters are in A0 portrait format. If the program is full, the organizer reserves the right to move some presentation topics to posters.
